VALKENSWAARD CSI2*, Netherlands 14 – 16/21 – 23 May 2018

First show for our baby, LA LE LOUP, clear and placed 8th in first class,11th, 12th and 8th again in Final.   Also placed again in second week 10th in Young horses. Georgie and QUE SERA won her class and placed 5th with BAGHEERA BLUE.

Both BUTTERFLY & CAMPINO a pole in the GP but happy.  Meanwhile no stopping Georgie with the very special ANGEL FIRE – 2nd in her final.


MANNHEIM CSI3*, Germany 5 – 8 May 2018

Boiling hot sunshine and some testing big courses but was placed on first day, both clear for CAMPINO and CHILLIPEPPER.  Then super clear for CHILLI in his first 1.50m class.  CAMPINO showed excellent ridability in his first 1.60m GP on a blistering hot day.  Lovely show.

MEDITERRANEAN SPRING MET 2018 CSI3* – final weekend 29 March – 1 April 2018




CAMPINO 344 – 13th, Clear in GOLD 1.45m out of 87 starters

BUTTERFLY ENNEMMEL – 22nd, double clear in 1.25m out of 65 starters

ANGEL FIRE – 8th, double clear in GOLD 1.35m out of 35 starters

CAMPINO 344 – 1st WINNER of GOLD OLIVIA GP 1.50m, double clear out of 56

Super 3 weeks in Spain with a lot of success with our new team, Georgie been placed in just about every class – we are happy to go home after a great learning curve and lots of ring experience for our youngsters.

MEDITERRANEAN EQUESTRIAN TOUR – Oliva, Spain 12 March – 1 April 2018

The whole team is in Oliva, Spain for 3 weeks showing.  Great start for Georgie with her rides – BAGHEERA BLUE, CHILLIPEPPER and QUE SERA – placed in all her classes first weekend.  Very excited with our new prospect, BUTTERFLY ENNEMMEL, my French 7 year old mare who arrived last week (see above in our first warm up together here in Oliva).  This is a serious future competitor.

The very special ANGEL FIRE placed 5th, 6th and 9th respectively, all with double clear rounds in her three events so far – what a very talented and willing mare.  CAMPINO double clear and placed  in the GOLD 1.45m class and will slowly build him up over the coming weeks.


Meanwhile back in South Africa – Aviwe Molose, (Jackson) and our wonderful AFRICAN LILLIE attended Sandringham 3 phase eventing in CT  on 17 March 2018- they have already competed fully in another event in Noordhoek a few weeks ago and were clear in the country and show jumping again – this is a remarkable achievement for both newcomers to the sport.


SENTOWER CSI2*, Opglabbeek, Belgium 1 – 4 February 2018

Campino 344 – double clear, 3rd in 1.50m GRAND PRIX


Fab show at SENTOWER – first show of the year and what a great start.


ANGEL FIRE, double clear entire time, 18th in the 1.30m class out of 120 starters and double clear, 5th in the 1.35m out of 55 starters – loving her work


BLUE BARON, 1 time in the 1.30m but 19th, clear in the 135m – definitely finding his feet.

Also super to have our new truck attending the first show of the year

ROOSENDAAL, Netherlands CSI2* 14 – 17 December 2017


Roosendaal, last show of the year for us- festive atmosphere and some solid rounds to end the year off for both myself and Georgie.


BAGHEERA BLUE, 5th clear in 1.35m out of 76 starters.

Our youngsters enjoyed the event, ANGEL FIRE clear in all her classes and placed 10th and 13th in the 1.35m, BLUE BARON, clear, 17th in same event.

PEELBERGEN, Netherlands CSI2* 15 – 19 November 2017

Difficult being in two places at same time – so took first time ride, CAMPINO 344 into the 1.40m classes and got placed in all.   Double clear, 11th & 16th respectively out of a field of 88 starters.


Then quick dash to airport to fly to SA for the  SA CHAMPS held in Gauteng – thank you to Bronwyn Dos Santos for letting me ride, QUIDCHIN and qualifying for the SA side for WEG 2018.  Also always delighted to see my regulars at the training clinics I ran while there – great progress guys.  Once again thanks to Clem and Bron for their kind hospitality and arena

OPGLABBEEK, Belgium CSI1* 9 – 12 November 2017

young ANGEL FIRE experienced her first International event after her arrival from Sweden and did herself proud.  Being clear the entire weekend and even been placed 13th in the 1.30m with double clear out of 89 starters.  VERY EXCITED about this mare.


Also delighted to welcome from South Africa, RYAN WATKINSON to our team who joined us on 1 November and our very special lady, KATI PAAKKOLANVAARA who has been close to us for many years and now thrilled to have her on board.

Meanwhile in Sweden Hilda having some super results with our youngsters there.


Rose and Hilda on good form at Kalmar Show 22 – 24 September 2017, 3rd in 1.10m and 6th in 1.20m with double clears after a long break.  Jens Hilgers’, baby TOP GUN attended first show and was clear in the small class – great start.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Kira Jussila from Finland who has joined the team and working with us at Jan Tops with our special horses.


Meanwhile in South Africa, Aviwe Molose, JACKSON and our horse, AFRICAN LILLIE entered his first 3 phase eventing and had a super clear in the country – exciting times ahead.  Also had a wonderful grooms course in Somerset West with some very enthusiastic young people keen to learn and love their horses.
